Lakeside
To visit the boating Lake of Székesfehérvár is highly recommended not only for those who are fond of fishing, but anyone else who wishes to be filled up in nature as this is the locals’ favorite places to relax. The lake and its surroundings, designed in the 60s, were renovated in 2017 and since then it offers boating and canoeing opportunities again. The romantic walk around the lake can be continued in the neighboring Rózsaliget, which is famous for its “sour water” with excellent iron content breaking up at the entrance to the park.

The 2.9-hectare fishing lake is located just a few hundred meters from the Boating Lake, beyond the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition to deep-lake fishing, you can also try floating fishing on the island in the elongated part of the lake. There fishing lake is provided with toilets and a fireplace. The neighbouring Youth and Sports Center in Bregó offers camping and chalet rental, as well as opportunities for active sports.

There is another great lake called the Town Lake about 15 minutes walk from the Boating Lake. It is a real paradise for walking, taking the dog for a walk and fishing for various fish like carp, grass carp, pike, perch, catfish, bream, crucian carp and catfish can also be caught. It is also a popular spot for running and biking in green surroundings.
